Becoming a Grandma

There are so many emotions on becoming a grandma. I am really starting to look forward to meeting Joshua. I can't wait to hold him, kiss him and count his toes. In the past when I thought about being a grandma, I hoped it would be a few years from now when Amanda had finished college and was on her own. I am a little sad that she won't get to experience her early 20's with no "real" responsibilities. Since I had to grow up fast too…I was hoping to live vicariously through her experiences. Oh well…we look forward to him blessing our lives very much. Another thing that I did not expect to happen when I became a Grandma was for my grandbaby to also live with us. Joshua's coming into the world is not only changing Amanda's way of life but ours too. One great thing is we will get to be hands on grandparents! I am sure he will bring great joy into our lives.
